She was predeceased by: her husband James Richard "Dick" Thompson; and her siblings, Christine Harmon, Edna Edmondson, Jack Dempsey, L. D. Dempsey, Fred Dempsey, Ray Dempsey and Sammy Dempsey.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Thompson Fritts (late Walter), Betty Ann Thompson Wilson (Jim) and James Darren Thompson (Tracy); her grandchildren, Ryan Neil Fritts, William Everett Wilson, Kana Nicole Thompson, Lindley Brooke Thompson and Nicolas Cade Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Carli Bennett Fritts and Callie Dempsey Fritts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
