She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank W. Allison and Dorothy Weems Allison; her husband Melvin Ford; her siblings, Alice Kemp, Frank W. Allison, Jr. and Donald Allison; and her grandson Blake Ezell.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Ford Key of Anniston, David Ford (Jo Rhea), Glenn Ford (Rhonda) of Oxford and Mike Ezell (Bethany) of Lithia, FL; her grandchildren, Dee Dee Lloyd (Chris) of Anniston, John David Ford of Bentonville, AR, Meagan Ford of Oxford and Jacob Ezell (Keri) of Lithia, FL; and her pet Molly. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Before the pandemic, she and her husband were part of a group that visited local skilled care and assisted care facilities each week to sing hymns for residents and volunteered at the Oxford Senior Center.
In accordance with her wishes, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a favorite charity.
