She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Young; her parents, Johnny Cook and Willie Bell Cook; and her sisters, Myrtice Fowler and Jimmie Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Jervis Young (Linda) and Ricky Young (Roxanne); her grandchildren, Sonya Young, Daniel Bright, Ericka Young, McKynlee Young, Tiffany Carr and Brooke Huey; her great grandchildren, Jazmine Young, Kamryn Carr, Reece Carr, Ashlyn Huey and Natalie Huey; her grandson-in-law Brian Huey; and her siblings, Fred Cook (Doris), Betty Wilson and Sandra Brown (Jim). She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
