It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Champion of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Danny Champion to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Champion and Lucille Champion; his son Jason Champion; his grandsons, Ashton Fraizer, Clifton and Roger Gibson; and his siblings, Jerry Champion, Jimmy Champion, Phyllis Frisby, Wayne Champion and Gayle Champion.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Champion; his daughters, Jennifer Clifton (Thomas), Suzanne Lyner (David), Tiffany Champion (Richard) and Bridgett Champion; his grandchildren, Jonathan Clifton, Ronald Champion, Hunter Lyner, Lauren Gaither, Landon Gaither (Alyssa), Kaiden Fraizer, Katelyn Frazier, Gracey Lyner, Laney Gaither, Emma Lyner, Caleb Fraizer, Rylee Milam, Vivienne Champion, Darby Champion and Bella Tarver; his great grandchildren, Hadlee Lyner, London Gaither and Rosalie Gaither; his siblings, Martha Kinder (Don), Donald Champion (Susie), Ricky Champion (Jeanette), Randy Champion (DD) and Stevie Champion (Nina); and his close friend Glyn'Murt'Minter. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
