He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Wilkerson and Mamie Wilkerson; and his siblings, Evelyn Kelly, Jack and John Wilkerson.

He is survived by: his wife Diane Morton Wilkerson; his children, Victoria Wilkerson Everett and Chris Houston (Tonya); his grandchildren, Christy (Scott), Julie (Brady), Brett, Nick, Sam and Kendyl; and his great grandchildren, Annabell, Baylee, Shelby, Layla and Kaylee.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Beacon Hospice.
