He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Beason and Cecil Beason; and his siblings, Debbie Beason, David Beason, Donya Montalvo Guzman and Delilah McConathy.

He is survived by: his wife Lorie Beason; his children, Derrick Jarrell (Tara), Taylor Cavender (Andy), Josh Beason (Zoey) and Jennifer Beason; and his sisters, Diana Bentley (Jimmy) and Kristy Beason (Ryan). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter.
