He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Foster and Virtue Mae Bentley Acker (Betty Sue Reeder). He is survived by: his wife Annette Acker; his children, Teri Acker, Charles Alan Acker and Roger Dale Acker; his grandchildren, Nicolas Pollard, Ryan Pollard (Laurie, Allison Acker) and Ashley Coffman (Mike); his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Pollard, Ryder Pollard, Madelyn Coffman and Hailey Coffman; and his sister Edna Matthews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 132 Central Avenue, Oxford, AL 36203.
