She was predeceased by: her father Jerome Tyler; and her grandparents, John, Edna Whitworth, Russell and Roberta Tyler.

She is survived by: her mother Doris Tyler; her aunts, Patsy Buckhannan, Valerie Whitworth and Martha Harbin; her uncle Gerald Whitworth; and her great-aunts, Shirley Abernathy, Elizabeth Hicks and Mamie Mickler. She is also survived by eight cousins.
