We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2022, at the age of 78, Carolyn Yates McGuire of Oxford, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Jerry McGuire; her parents, Avery Yates and Sarah Yates; and her siblings, Vivian Holmes, Elizabeth Yates, Donald Yates and Rodney Dale Yates.

She is survived by: her sister Gail Weaver; and her nieces and nephews, Fran Johnson (Tim), Donna Timmons (Keith), Anita Stovall, Stephanie Harris, Michael Holmes and Chuck Owen.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carolyn's memory may be made to League for Animal Welfare or Rainbow Omega.
