He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Shearer and Clair Shearer (James); his wife Joanne Shearer; his grandchildren, Laurrie Creagan-Markey (Lloyd), Caryl Bailey (William) and Amber Carriker (Dan); his great grandchildren, Evelin Creagan, Austin Bailey, Joseph Bailey, Wendy Wiley-Ratliff (Amanda) and Bruce Wiley (Sam East); his brothers, Sage Carriker, Gracey Wiley-Ratliff and Ahna Wiley; and his nieces and nephews, Gerald Shearer (Dana) and Cleve Shearer.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Oxford United Methodist Church.
