He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Ann Smith; his parents, B. E. Smith Sr. and Johnnie Mae Comer; and his stepmother Janet Ellen Smith. He is survived by: his children, Scott Smith Bierley, Dana Crumley (Lindsey), Kent Crumley (Tami) and Angela Hollingsworth (Michael); his siblings, Teresa Ellen Setter (Ross) and Kyle Smith; and his grandchildren, Jordan Hollingsworth (Brandy), Brian Crumley (Kaitlin), Zach Hollingsworth (Alex), Ragan Crumley O'Connor (John Bryan), Spencer Hollingsworth and Trent Hollingsworth. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 protocol, all those in attendance of the services for Mr. Smith will be asked to wear a facial covering properly and will be advised to be socially distant.
