She was predeceased by: her husband Ervin R. Boatman; her son Derriel Boatman; her grandson Ryan Stephens; and her siblings, Edith M. Hall and Emmet D. Harless.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Young (Paul), Kaye Stephens (Larry), Judy Broome (Bill) and Morris Boatman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Fair, Nell Amador; and several nieces and nephews.
