He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jerome Southern and Mary Milnea Southern (Jones); his son Rodney Liles Southern Jr.; and his nephew James Arron Southern. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Clint Southern and Wade Ellis Southern; the mother of his children Gloria; his brother Charles Timothy Southern; his nephews, Jeremy Southern, Nicholas Timothy Southern and Charles Andrew Southern; and his sister-in-law Ana Southern.
