He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Wilkes; and his son Anthony Carter. He is survived by: his wife Judy Carter; his sons, Jason Carter (Laura Branch) and Christopher Carter (Jorge Raub); and his niece Jennifer "Sprout" Pinson. He is also survived by 4 other nieces and nephews.
