We bid farewell to Gayle Joyce Yawn (Owens Cross Roads, Alabama), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 4, 2024 at the age of 76. Gayle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Kennedy Bissell and William E. White; her stepfather Raymond H. Bissell; and her nephew William Tracy Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Geary Yawn (GW); her sister Judith White Thompson (Gregory J. Farnsworth); her great-nephew Jeremy Tracy Thompson; her stepdaughters, Jennifer Lucero (Sam) and Kimberly Yawn; her grandchildren, Kathryn Hansel (Tyler), Stephen Stokes (Kacey) and Evan Stokes (Caitlyn); and also, Donna Faye and Bryson Lee Thompson.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hampton Cove Funeral Home (6262 US-431, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
