She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Mason Sloan and Homer Sloan; her daughter Andrea Leigh Carter; and her siblings, Horace Eugene "Gene" Sloan, Cecil "Buddy" Sloan, Vernon Sloan, Phillip Sloan, Louise Sloan Embry and Effie Sloan Schrimsher.

She is survived by: her husband James Dunn Stallings; her sons, Charles Dunn Stallings and Jeffrey Alan Stallings; her brother Doug Sloan, Sr.; her grandchildren, Haley DeAnn Stallings, Suzaun Stalling, Lauren Marie Stallings, James Nicholas Stallings, Allison Kathleen Stallings, James Alan Stallings and Patricia Carter Raymer; and her great grandchildren, Marabella Grace Cozart, Caleb Raymer, Jacklyn Raymer and Andrew Raymer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
