He was predeceased by: his father Jack Hughes; his son Marty; his brother Mark Hughes; and his sister-in-law Ginnie Hughes. He is survived by: his daughter Bethany McKean; his close friend Rose Thomas; his brothers, Dan Hughes (Jan) and Joe Hughes; and his sister-in-law Linae Hughes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
