He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack VanIngen and Anne VanIngen; his brother Russell VanIngen; and his stepmother Virginia VanIngen. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Lane S. VanIngen of Orange Beach, AL, Jennifer Paccapaniccia (Jason Bontrager) and Jackie Monson (Stephen); his sister Connie Babaoglu (PJ) of Hilton Head, SC; his grandchildren, Austin VanIngen, Blake Monson, Megan Monson, Michael Paccapaniccia and Jackson Paccapaniccia; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Ava and Millie Mimms.
