He is survived by: his wife Barbara Keller Kummel; his daughters, Gale Kummel Trantham (Mike) of Calhoun, GA and Mary Ann Kummel Sasser (Jeff) of Calhoun, GA; his stepchildren, Link Erickson (Sabine) of Burnt Hills, NY and Signe Erickson (Holly) of Redwood City, CA; his grandchildren, Brigitte Cohoon (Steven), John Sasser, Carl Trantham, Anna Trantham, Therese Erickson and Christian Erickson; his siblings, Frank Kummel (Betty) and Barbara Smith (Howard); his niece Susan Hinrichs (Jeff); and his nephews, Stephen Smith (Cheryl) and Anthony Kummel.
