He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jaye and Minnie Lee Jaye. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Daniel of Atmore; his sister Audry Cleland; his sons, Danny Jaye Winter Haven (Edna) and Robby Jaye; his grandchildren, Stephanie Taylor (Bryan), Jordan, Maggie Jaye, Joseph, Chase, Conner and Jack Jaye; and his great grandchildren, Caylie Taylor, Jaye-Harper Stabler, Serena Jaye, Jackson, Hurston, Grayson Jaye and Jentzen Stabler. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
