She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Hastie and Hazel Hastie (Gene Mathews Sr.); and her daughter Jeannine Smith. She is survived by: her children, Randy Dillard (Mary), Melissa Baker and Gene Matthews (Deborah); and her grandchildren, Kathy, Kara, Chuck, Jimmy, Blake, Olivia, Ryan, Joe, Zuzu and Lucy. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
