She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bachar and Catherine Bachar; her brother Glen (Bachar); her husband William E. Callender; her son William E. Callender, Jr.; and her grandson Chase Callender.

She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia C. Hawkins (John), Cynthia C. Cowen (Byron) and Tamara C. Eubanks (Doug Turnipseed). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
