He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Ray Tatum and Esther Lee Tatum; and his brothers, Malcolm and Noah Tatum. He is survived by: his wife Marie Tatum; his son Jason Tatum (Stacey); his grandchildren, Kathleen Ward (Matt), Savanna Sivert (David), Steven Jack Tatum and Daniel Tatum; his great grandchildren, Autumn Marie Sivert and Chloe Ann Joy Sivert; and his siblings, Martha Spears (Walter), Sybil Davison (Ron), Loretta Spivey, Juanita Gordon (Dudley), Terry Bryant (late Tony) and Billy Tatum (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
