Eula Crain Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2018, at the age of 84, Eula Crain (Orange Beach, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Eula was an ardent reader and had written several books; the last one was her autobiography titled, The Survivor". Eula was proceeded in death by her parents, Paul and Ethel Ewing. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Frank N. Crain; one daughter, Kimberly Rae and husband Edwin (Butch) Phillips; grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Phillips of Mt. Jouliet, TN; two step-sons, Paul Nelson and Charles Crain of Hardyville, KY; three sisters, twin, Beulah Rae Catllett of Elizabethtown, KY, Doris Simpson of Hodgenville, KY, and Alma Ford of Orange Beach, AL; numerous relatives, friends and two special little buddies, Angel and Sugar. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, 2551 S. McKenzie St. Foley, AL, where hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served in celebration of Eula's life. There will also be an additional visitation and service held in Elizabethtown, KY at Dixon-Atwood Funeral Home Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00pm located on 234 W Dixie Ave. Elizabethtown, KY. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown, KY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Hospital.
