We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2023, at the age of 44, Charles Bennett Long of Orange Beach, Alabama, born in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Donwen Long; his children, Charles Bennett Long Jr., William Brooks Long and Ann Ashford Long; his parents, Betty Ann and Earle Long; his siblings, Earle W. Long IV, John Forrest Long (Ashley) and Elizabeth Long Harrison (Mark); his nieces and nephews, Ann Bradley Long, Elizabeth Frances Long (Libby), Virginia Layton Long, Caroline Benson Harrison, Laura Elizabeth Harrison, John Simms Harrison, James Reid Harrison, William Calvert Donwen and Jon Walter Donwen; his mother-in-law Renee Fontenot Donwen; and his brother-in-law Alex Jude Donwen (Angie). He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
