He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Burk Simmons and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Simmons of Monroe City, MO.. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Meme"; his sons, Christopher (Jane) of St. Paul, MN. and Carl, Jr.; and his siblings, Ed Simmons (Angela) and Sue Thomas (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
