He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Ida Wells Robbins and Joseph Jackson Robbins; his grandson Thomas David Aplin; and his siblings, Kermit Robbins, Cassie Marler, Ollie Jo Mills, Kate Bryant and Orene Silas.
He is survived by: his wife Luenet Smith Robbins; his daughters, Martha Batchelor (Lee), Shelia Prescott (Scott), Joan Mock (Donald) and Carol Aplin (Terrell); his grandchildren, Kevin Bales, Amanda, Eric Prescott, Nicole, Derrek Prescott, Tammy, Holly Deshong, Tyler Mock, Kayla, Cassie Chamblee and Braden; his great grandchildren, Maddie Creech, Rayne Prescott, Kaelyn Deshong, Denver Deshong, Henry Mock and Logan Ray Aplin; and his siblings-in-law, Elbert Smith and Lena Mae Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at the Cool Springs Cemetery (1103 US-84, Opp, AL 36467).
