It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Carnley of Opp, Alabama, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Laura White and Julius G. Bade; her husband Gerald Ray Carnley; her son-in-law LaDon Dewrell; and her siblings, Don Bade, Erma Mason, Bessie Faye Engle, Dixie Girmus and Georgia Arroyo.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Carnley (Melissa), Cindy Goff (Dennis), Cherri Goff (Mike) and Cathy Martin (Rick); her brothers, Jim Bade (Glenda) and Kenny Bade (Marlena); her siblings-in-law, Christine Clark and Ronnie Carnley; her grandchildren, Ben Goff, Alicia, Wendy Rivers, Frank, Justin Goff, Jakki, Ashley DeShazo, Drew, Josh Carnley, Kaylinn, Ashlyn Barrett, Miles, Cristy Wise, Wesley and Jarrod Dewrell; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Andrew, Peyton, Conner, Emily, Cali, Austin, Will, Riley, Maddox, Addison, Haylee, Ethan and Eden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the Sweetwater Baptist Church Cemetery (28171 Co Rd 30, Opp, AL 36467).
