He is survived by: his son Clint Burgess (Karlotta); his brother Tommie Burgess (Martha); his grandchildren, Isabella Burgess, John Dawson Burgess and William Foxworth; and also Julie Weeks Burgess.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Blue Springs Cemetery (23480 Blue Springs Church Rd, Opp, AL 36467).
