He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Sue Bailey Scofield and Gerald Waters "Shorty" Scofield, Sr.; and his brother Jeff Scofield. He is survived by: his son Perry Scofield; and his brothers, Jonathon Scofield and Mark Scofield.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467).
