He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mae Grimes Boyd and Herbert Morgan Boyd; and his siblings, William Boyd, Sr., Delores Ann Boyd and Evelyn Hildreth. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at the New Ebenezer Cemetery.
