Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Brenda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances Harrison Davis and Junior Davis; and her brother Ronnie Davis. She is survived by: her husband John R. Carmack; her daughter Leslie Carmack Gohagan; her grandchildren, Taylor Gohagan and John Nolen Gohagan; her sister Charlotte Lunsford (Jimmy); and her sisters-in-law, Carmen Davis and Nancy Hammett (Seth). She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
