She was predeceased by: her husband William Gordon Goodson; her daughter Tammy Hodges Shufflebarger; her stepchildren, Kathy Goodson and Bill Goodson; and her parents, Rae Horseman and Myrtle Sparks Horseman Jaruta.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Mathews, Clay Hodges, Chris Mathews (Tanya) and Reece Mathews (Landra); her stepchildren, Joey Goodson (Tina), Tommy Goodson and Judy Wallace; her brother Jerry Horseman; and her grandchildren, Lindsay Hodges, Dalton Hladky, Tara Mathews Langford, Heather McKee, Brittany McMillan, Cody Mathews, Justin Galbraith, Victoria Mathews and Rachel Mathews. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
