He is survived by: his sisters, Martha Jackson of Shorter, AL and Mary Myers of Columbus, GA; his aunt Dorothy Rutherford (Horace) of Culloden, GA; and his close friend Valarie Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801). A repast will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Ashton Way (201 Samford Ave #1400, Opelika, AL 36801). A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Higgsville Baptist Church Cemetery (18 Gallimore Mill Rd, Jeffersonville, GA 31044).
