It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William N. Jackson of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Bobbye Jackson; and his stepmother Merris Jackson. He is survived by: his father Don Jackson, Sr. (Paula); his siblings, Don Jackson (Susan) of Opelika and Cheryl Smitherman (Phil) of Bremen, GA; his niece Meredith Turner (Randy) of Opelika; and his nephews, Hunter Jackson of Waverly, Ala., Harrison and Parker Smitherman of Bremen, GA. He is also survived by great-niece and two great-nephews.

“Mr. Don and Don and family, I am very sorry and sadden by the news of the passing of my good friend and life long buddy, Billy. He was the first person I ever spent the night with or have spend the night with me many, many years ago. We remained friends and at one point were inseparable and would "hang out" daily! Those days were and are thought of as some of the best years of my youth and early manhood. May you find comfort in knowing he will be remembered in such a way. Robbie Freeman”
