He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kyle Blythe and Gwendolyn C. Blythe; his brother James Kyle Blythe, Jr.; and his granddaughter Taylor Lillian Thornton. He is survived by: his sister Cynthia Coan (Ron); his children, Sherren Jennifer Blythe (Cindy), William Allen Blythe (Priscilla), Joseph Kyle Blythe and Ashley Lynn Thornton (David); and his grandchildren, Alli Anne Blythe, W. Grant Blythe and McCrae Thornton. He is also survived by two nieces, a nephew and great nieces and nephews.
