With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Lamar Pierce of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on June 30, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Willard Walter Pierce; and his brother Tim Pierce. He is survived by: his mother Ersil Othell Stough Pierce; his wife Vicki Pierce; his children, Adam Pierce (Kathi) and Jessica Ward (Jason); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Maddie and Zach Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to either the Building Fund at Providence or to the Spencer Cancer Center in his name.
