It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vitaly Vodyanoy (Opelika, Alabama), who passed away on January 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Vodyanoy and Vera Vodyanoy (Resnik); and his wife Galina Vodyanoy (Rubin).

He was an outstanding scientist who made innumerable contributions to olfaction, biosensors, and microscopy research.
