He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Gregory and Stacee Nelms of Opelika, AL; his great-niece Tiffany; his nephew Tommy Ambus; his grandchildren, Garrien of Opelika, AL, Verlearyia of Opelika, AL, Alillian "Lilly" of Opelika, AL and Cornell of Opelika, AL; his brother-in-law Gilbert Dooley of Opelika, AL; and his close friends, Anthony "Gump" Johnson and Mike Heard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1409 Monroe Ave, Opelika, AL 36801).
