She was predeceased by: her parent Ora Lea Garrett Long; her husband James Vernon Pope; and her siblings, William Long (Lou), Dwight Long, Forrest Long, June Long, Glenda Jumper (Jimmy) and Jean Lane (Riley).
She is survived by: her sons, James Jeffrey Pope and John Steven Pope; her grandchildren, John Zackery Pope of Charleston, Russell Steven Pope of Jerusalem and Israel; her son Jared Blakely Pope of Hazel Green, Alabama.; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanine Long of Smiths Station and Betty Jo Long Nelson of Opelika. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St.Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
