She is survived by: her sister Sharon Payne; her children, Bobby Segrest (Carol), Wendi Adkison (Darrell) and Robert Eugene Segrest Jr.; her grandchildren, Brandi Adkison, Mindy Chester (Josie) and Justin Segrest (Kirstia); and her great grandchildren, Gavin Nichols, Amaiah Nichols, Avah Segrest and Tyler Segrest. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was highly regarded for her expertise and contributions to the university.
