We bid farewell to Peggy Ann (Jones) Dunson of Opelika, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 6, 2025 at the age of 79. Peggy Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Loman Jones and Helen Jones (Trussell). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Dunson; her children, Lisa Stenner (Dave) and Jason Dunson (Stephanie); her grandsons, Colten, Trevor, Dalton and Camden; and her siblings, Donna Mormon, Bob (Gay) and Barry (Kathy). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; cousins; and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the East Alabama Food Bank or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
