She is survived by: her children, Olyvia Gilder of Opelika, AL and Chauncey Pitts of Opelika, AL; her mother Mellissa Christian (Ronnie) of Opelika, AL; her sisters, Portia Black of Opelika, AL and Keamber "Mia" Chatmon of Opelika, AL; her grandfather William Gunn, Sr. (Annette) of Opelika, AL; her friends, Renecia "Symone" Martin of Valley, AL, Salena Jackson of Columbus, GA and Anthony Pitts of Opelika, AL; her aunt Patricia Lipscomb of Douglasville, GA; and her niece Marlee Chatman of Opelika, AL. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Galilee Baptist Church (2259 Co Rd 290, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
