Nicholas Edward Botta Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2023, at the age of 90, Nicholas Edward Botta (Opelika, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Louis Patrick Botta and Annie Mae Sabatini Botta; his siblings, Louis Patrick Botta and Mary Ann Botta; and his brother-in-law Buddy Ray.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Botta Conner (Wes Lawler); his wife Penny Brown Botta; his daughter Lisa Botta Wilson (Richard); his grandchildren, Richard Craig Wilson (RC), Nicholas Chase Wilson and Katherine McNeal Conner (Nealy); his niece Alyson Ray Rutberg (Neil); his great-niece Wynn Rutberg; his stepsons, Ben Davis (Melissa) and Carter Davis; and his grandchildren, Charlie Davis and Connor Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Lee County Humane Society or the East Alabama Food Bank, causes close to Nick's heart.
