She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Florence; her parents, Rudolph R. Baker and Stella Cross Baker; her son William C. Florence Jr.; her granddaughter Carly Elizabeth Florence; and her niece Sadie Lynn Cooper Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Larry H Florence and Julie Weldon Buchanan; her niece Susan C. Rosenbloom (Dan); her sister Karen Gardner "Jeanie"; and her daughter-in-law Lisa C. Florence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Garden Hills Cemetery (1218 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801).
