It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Dunn Mynes (Opelika, Alabama), born in Gordonsville, Virginia, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Clinton Dunn and Anna Elizabeth Weller Dunn; her husband James Lyle Mynes; her siblings, Harry Dunn, Lillian Dunn Hilderbrand and Anna Mae Dunn Hagan; and her great grandchild Gregory Mynes Pettey, Jr..
She is survived by: her child Beverly Mynes Pettey (Bob); her grandchildren, Robert H. Pettey, III, Sheridan Pettey Briskman (Josh) and Gregory Mynes Pettey (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Robert H. Pettey, IV, Emma Lawrence Pettey, Williams Lyle Briskman, Joshua Mayer Briskman, Ann Thompson Pettey and Adeline Margaret Pettey.
