She is survived by: her husband James Hunter; her children, Terrance Sanders of Opelika, AL, Lakeshia Floyd of Opelika, AL and Marquavious Floyd of Opelika, AL; her grandchildren, Zaylen Sanders, Terra Dowdell, Isaiah Walker and Malaysia Floyd; her siblings, Lee Sanders, Jr. (Rose) of Atlanta, GA, Jimmy Shields of Lafayette, AL, Donald Dawson of Opelika, AL, Terry Sanders of Opelika, AL, Karen Lilly (AC) of Opelika, AL and Abigail Lewis (Robert) of Opelika, AL; her aunts and uncles, Glenda Davis of Atlanta, GA, Ralphine Brooks of Opelika, AL, Effie Rankin of Chicago, IL, Willie Sanders (Mary) of Atlanta, GA, Eddie Sanders of Atlanta, GA and Frank Bedell of Opelika, AL; and her friend Nicco Oliver of Opelika, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801).
