We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2022, at the age of 95, Laverne Owens of Opelika, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Wesley Owens. She is survived by: her son David Owens (Benita); her grandson Benjamin Owens; and her stepgranddaughter Margaret Monroe.
In lieu of flowers and food, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Marvin Parkway Baptist Church, located at 3001 Marvin Parkway, Opelika, AL, 36804.
