He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sherwood and Gladys Sherwood; his siblings, Betty Gilliland, Fred, Tally and Charles Sherwood; and his son Steve Sherwood.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Mayberry; his children, Sandra Lowery (Tommy), Kenny Sherwood (Diana), Randy Sherwood (Diana) and Jennifer Hughes (Tim); his daughter-in-law Dawn Sherwood; and his siblings, Rose Johnson (Leon), Lois Ruby and John Sherwood (Melanie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
