She was predeceased by: her husband Kurt Berger; and her grandson Jesse Marchant Birt. She is survived by: her son Timothy Birt; her daughter-in-law Jamie Marchant; and her great-niece Kristina Porterfield Andriese. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
